Turn, Kick, Reach® (TKR)

Most people know Baby Otter Swim School because of our proprietary system that’s been helping to save lives for 40 years! An essential course to ensure that your child knows how to react if they should ever fall into the water, TKR is appropriate for children as soon as they are able to crawl. We offer this as a consecutive five-day course to create an intensive experience. Of course, your child will enjoy a gentle and positive experience with highly trained instructors. There’s simply no better way to introduce your child to water safety. This is a private class that offers a fully personalized experience for your little one!

TKR Review

TKR Review should be taken after completion of our TKR course. This is an essential course for building skills in new swimmers. Your child will feel strong and confident in the water.

Beginning Strokes, Level 1

Once little swimmers have some experience in the water, Level 1 helps them to refine their skills to start making their way toward achieving proficiency. During this course, students will learn how to roll, float, move their arms, and properly dive for toys. They will walk away with new abilities that will help them to be safe, confident swimmers with an understanding of how to move in the water.

Beginning Strokes, Level 2

After completing Level 1, swimmers can enter Level 2 to really start building expert-level swimming skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. The big topic covered at this level is breaststroke. In addition, rhythmic breathing for freestyle will be covered in depth.

Beginning Strokes, Level 3

Level 3 is great for helping newer swimmers to fully refine their skills while increasing competency in the water. Open to students who have completed Level 2, Level 3 covers treading water, survival technique, backstroke, and more!

Adult Classes
