I grew up in Alabama and graduated from Auburn University. I moved to South Florida in 2019 to become a math teacher and a diving coach. I’ve always had a passion to serve people and to work with children. I met the owners (Mindy and Marlene) of Baby Otter Swim School and fell in love with the company. I saw the value created from the work and care the Baby Otter instructors displayed during their instruction. I decided to buy the franchise for Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens to give back to my community and to live a more fulfilling life of owning my own business. I’ve been helping children learn how to swim for almost a year now and absolutely love what I do. It’s rewarding to take a child from day 1 who can’t swim to day 5 where they can save their own life if they fall into the water.

As a first-time business owner, I wasn’t sure how I was going to run and operate my business. Mindy and Marlene have advised me every step of the way. It’s apparent they care about me and the success of my new franchise.

Turn, Kick, Reach® (TKR)

A unique five consecutive day program to teach children, as soon as they can crawl, what to do if they fell into the water.

TKR Review

Designed to assist swimmers who have taken the TKR private class, but still need strengthening and improvement on the skills taught.

Beginning Strokes, Level 1

Designed for swimmers who have had some experience in the water. Swimmers learn the log roll, how to float, use their arms and dive for toys.

Beginning Strokes, Level 2

Designed for swimmers who have completed level 1. Swimmers learn the breast stroke and rhythmic breathing for freestyle.

Beginning Strokes, Level 3

Designed for swimmers who have completed level 2. Swimmers learn the side stroke, elementary backstroke, backstroke, treading water and survival technique.

Adult

Private classes designed to teach adults who have never learned to swim and for those adults who want to improve.
