I’ve always wanted my daughter to be able to learn how to swim. Few months ago as I was driving home, I saw this huge truck with a sign advertising a local swim school. I visited the school, and I registered my daughter for a class. A day before her would have been first swim lesson my daughter got sick so I called to cancel her appointment…that sickness turned out to be a blessing in disguise. In that same week, I found out about the Baby Otter Swim School at the Westin Lombard. I made an appointment with them instead, and I want to say that it was one of the best calls I’ve ever made for my daughter.
Words are not enough to express how thankful I am to Baby Otter Swim School especially Ms. Mindy for teaching my 3 year old daughter, Sofie, a lifetime skill. They taught her how to swim, and what’s even more amazing with Baby Otter’s program is that she learned to swim in 5 days! The TKR (Turn, Kick, Reach) program is incredible. By day 3, my daughter is able to swim independently back to the wall after falling in the water. This is something that would probably have taken her months to learn if I had enrolled her somewhere else. Like any other parent, the safety of my child is one of my priorities. Baby Otter did not only teach my daughter water safety and survival skills, they had also given me, a peace of mind. The peace of mind knowing that my daughter will know how to save herself from drowning if she accidentally falls in the water will never amount to anything. Now, we enjoy pool time together with no fear. So parents, if you are looking for the best swim school for your child, your search is over! I highly recommend Baby Otter Swim School. It is worth every penny, and is one of the best investments you’ll ever make for your precious little ones. I know because I did, and I am so proud of what my little swimmer have accomplished in 5 days! We shed a few tears during the process, but I would rather hear my baby cry now than not to hear her cry forever. Thank you Baby Otter, Ms Mindy and Ms. Marlene from the bottom of my heart. You are truly a lifesaver and we are forever grateful.
